GYXTS Outdoor Optical Cable
GYXTS is an outdoor central tube optical cable with metal strength members and steel tape armor. Its structure consists of optical fibers, PBT loose tube (filled with waterproof grease), parallel steel wire strength members, water-blocking materials, double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) and PE outer sheath. Available with 2-96 single-mode/multi-mode fibers, it features small diameter, light weight and excellent rodent-proof performance, suitable for aerial, duct and light direct burial laying.

Features:
Excellent Protection Performance: Four-layer waterproof design (grease in loose tube, water-blocking filler, steel tape and PE sheath) ensures good moisture resistance and prevents longitudinal water seepage; steel tape armor and steel wire reinforcement enhance rodent-proof, anti-side pressure and anti-stretching capabilities.
Stable Mechanical & Temperature Performance: Precisely controlled fiber excess length guarantees excellent mechanical properties, with long-term tensile force up to 600N and short-term up to 1500N; it works stably in -40℃~+70℃, adapting to extreme outdoor environments.
Low Loss Transmission: Equipped with G.652 series single-mode fibers, it has low transmission loss and dispersion, ensuring stable long-distance signal transmission without obvious additional attenuation after cabling.
Easy Installation & Economy: Central tube structure makes it more compact and lighter than stranded cables; good flexibility and small bending radius (10D static, 20D dynamic) facilitate aerial hanging, duct threading and on-site construction, with high cost-effectiveness.
Application:
Main Laying Scenarios: Ideal for aerial laying (rural poles, urban roads, forest areas), duct laying (urban underground pipelines, building risers) and light direct burial (soft soil areas with few stones), widely used in metropolitan area networks and access networks.
Industry-specific Uses: Suitable for long-distance communication, local telephone trunk lines, CATV networks, FTTH backbone links, power system communications, intelligent transportation and industrial automation signal transmission.
Environmental Adaptation: UV-resistant PE sheath is suitable for outdoor environments such as fields, mountainous areas and forests; it is especially applicable to areas prone to rodent damage, but not recommended for heavy direct burial or underwater laying.
