GYFTA Outdoor Optical Cable Cable
GYFTA is an outdoor communication optical cable with a loose tube stranded structure and non-metallic strength member. it consists of optical fibers, loose tubes, central strength member, water-blocking filler, plastic-coated aluminum tape (APL) and PE outer sheath.
Description
Features:
Superior Protection: Four-layer water-proof design (water-blocking grease in loose tubes, full-core water-blocking filler, aluminum tape and PE sheath) and high-strength PBT loose tubes ensure fiber safety.
Non-metallic Advantage: FRP central member enables anti-EMI and lightning protection, ideal for strong electromagnetic and thunderstorm-prone areas, reducing transportation and installation costs.
Environmental & Mechanical Adaptability: UV-resistant PE sheath works at -40℃~+70℃. It meets mechanical requirements with long-term tensile force 400-1000N and short-term 1000-3000N.
Easy Transmission & Construction: Low loss (G.652 fiber: 0.35dB/km at 1310nm, 0.21dB/km at 1550nm). Flexible structure facilitates splicing, duct threading and aerial laying.
Application:
Main Installation Scenarios: Duct (urban underground pipelines, building risers) and aerial (urban roads, rural poles) laying for metropolitan, access and local area networks.
Industry-specific Uses: Auxiliary long-haul links, data center interconnection, FTTH backbone, power system communications (substations), high-speed rail/metro networks.
Environmental Adaptation: Suitable for high humidity, thunderstorm and strong interference areas. Not recommended for direct burial; GYFTA53 armored cable is suggested for harsh scenarios.
